The elevator of the corn drying tower is mainly composed of the feed inlet, the bucket, the bucket belt and the driving device. Usually, the elevator is equipped with a grain grinder, and the grain to be dried is conveyed to the elevator by the grain grinder. After the feed inlet is energized, the hoist bucket of the hoist lifts the grain from the bottom to the high place and unloads it into the tower through the slide tube. In order to ensure the safety of the workers in the dryer operation and daily maintenance, a guardrail needs to be installed on the top of the tower, and a protective cover must be installed on the motor of the hoist to protect the motor from wind, rain and snow. The right side of the elevator is a ladder, which is convenient for staff to go to the tower for maintenance. The white pipe next to the ladder is a dust removal pipe, which extends from the top of the tower to the ground and is connected to the dust collector. The drying tower can be divided into five working sections, namely grain storage section, drying section, slow-suction section, cooling section and grain unloading section.
There is a small transparent window on one side of the grain storage section, called the observation window, which can observe the position of the grain in the tower. It mainly uses hot air as the drying medium to heat and dehydrate the grain, reducing the grain moisture to a certain degree, making it beneficial for storage and ensuring quality.
The inside of the drying tower is mainly composed of pentagonal ventilated angular tubes arranged in layers. These angular tubes that the user can see from the outside are exhaust angular tubes. The hot air provided by the hot air blower enters the grain pile through the intake angle pipe, and takes away the vaporized water vapor of the grain while passing through the grain layer, and is discharged into the atmosphere through the exhaust angle pipe.
